Silver Anniversary of FNE Explorers in America

The Federation of North American Explorers is proud to announce the celebration of its Silver Anniversary this year, marking 25 years of empowering young people to grow in faith, leadership, and service. Founded in August of 1999, the Federation has been dedicated to fostering a holistic approach to youth development grounded in the values of Catholicism and within the larger and proven FNE Explorer movement.

The FNE has touched the lives of thousands of young people across North America, providing opportunities for adventure, community building, and spiritual growth. Through its unique blend of outdoor activities, leadership training, and Catholic teaching, the organization has built a legacy of inspiring youth to become an ordinary saint in this lifetime while also becoming responsible, compassionate citizens and leaders in their communities.

“As we celebrate 25 years of the Federation of North American Explorers, we reflect with gratitude on the remarkable journey we’ve had so far,” said Paul Ritchi, General Commissioner and Founder of FNE. “Our movement is grounded in the teachings of Christ, and our goal has always been to help young people live out their faith through service, adventure, and leadership. We are deeply grateful for the many leaders, volunteers, families, and explorers who have made this journey possible and for their impact in shaping our youth’s future.”

The FNE’s anniversary celebrations will include events throughout 2025, highlighting key milestones and the movement’s positive impact on its members and their communities. Local explorer groups, leaders, and alumni will come together for reflection, prayer, and fellowship to commemorate past accomplishments and look forward to the future.

All families are welcome to come Saturday, June 7th, to the Kline property for Mass followed by a potluck and celebration of 25 years of foundation of the FNE program in America.

Units will meet at 9:30 am, with Mass beginning shortly thereafter.  Feel free to bring camp chairs and blankets.
